All Lovecraft’s work Online.

I’m not a lawyer, but this is either illegal (in which case, it’ll be taken down soon), or just wonderful. Either way, it is full of dark and sultry joy.

This Scribd group is collecting as much of Lovecraft’s work as possible, and making that work available online. Of course, leafing through their selections, I see a rather glaring ommission. . .

Update: A shuggoth writes in (in the comments) to say that there is a more complete selection at this webpage.

Its perfectly legal. All of Lovecraft’s works are public domain.

Really? Because, when I started this project, I had to look pretty hard into the copyright issue, and found it to be very murky. Here’s the reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._P._Lovecraft#Intellectual_property

There is a more complete site at: http://www.dagonbytes.com/thelibrary/lovecraft/ AND it includes “The Call of Cthulhu.”

I dunno, but I personally like http://www.templeofdagon.com/ myself. It seems to be complete, though to be honest I’ve never done a cross-reference with my books to make sure. I’ve never looked for a story up there and been unable to find it. (Poems are a different story altogether though :P)
