C4C mentioned in Wired Magazine

Now here’s something funny. Last year, we were nominated for a Parsec award (excellence in Podcasting). In fact, we were nominated twice, and we lost twice. I’m not bitter or anything, it’s just background for the rest of this story.

Yesterday, the Geekdad blog on Wired.com did a story on the 2009 Parsecs, saying that there was still time to nominate your favorite podcast. In the article, they say, ” With previous nominees including such stand outs as the Pottercast and Calls for Cthulhu, it’s obvious that the Parsecs are a great way to show some love for your favorite flavors of fandom.”

The funny thing for me is that Pottercast didn’t win last year, neither did C4C. Like I said, I’m not bitter, I just think it’s funny. And of course, it’s an honor just to be mentioned in Wired.

I am a huge fan of Calls for Cthulhu and I was wondering if you might consider selling puppets of Cthulhu. If you didn’t make him, could you please tell us where to get one? Thank you!

Thanks Ginny. It’s always great to hear that people like the show.

You can find that puppet in several locations, here’s a link to find it on Amazon.

I actually found out about your site from the Geekdad article. I love it so far and find my self laughing out loud on the NYC trains while I watch them on my Zune. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks, John.

The very idea of someone watching this show on the subway thrills me more than you probably realize.
